New Security Features Are Coming to Online Banking: 2SV & Password Reset

We're committed to keeping your financial information secure.

On January 16, we launched a new security feature to our Online Banking (OLB) platform: strong password requirement. A strong password is a password that is designed to be difficult for unauthorized individuals or automated programs to guess or crack. It is an important aspect of ensuring the security of your online accounts, personal information, and digital assets.

On July 17, we’re launching two new security features: Two-step verification and self serve password reset.

Two-step verification (2SV) adds an extra layer of security to your online banking by requiring two different methods of authentication. In addition to your username and password, you’ll enter a code that our OLB system will send you via text or voice message. This ensures that even if your password is compromised, unauthorized access to your account is prevented. Self serve password reset allows you to reset your password without having to call the branch. This will be available at your convenience, 24/7.

When you log in to your OLB account from any platform on or after July 17, you will notice a new page after entering your password. This page will prompt you to register for 2SV using either your phone number or email address.

If you primarily use the same device for logging into your account, we have made it even more convenient for you. During the registration process, you will have the option to select “Don’t ask me again next time I log in from this device.” By selecting this option, you won’t be prompted for 2SV on subsequent logins from the same device, providing a seamless experience while maintaining enhanced security.

Should you have any questions or need assistance, our dedicated support team is available to guide you through the registration process.
