Moya Financial Steps Up to Aid Flood Victims in Slovenia, Donates $10,000 for Relief Efforts

The team at Moya Financial Credit Union, a proud pillar of the Slovenian-Canadian community, expresses heartfelt concern and offers sincere prayers to the people of Slovenia who have been affected by the recent devastating floods. Our thoughts go out to the families who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods.

Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob’s assertion that these floods constitute the worst natural disaster in Slovenia’s history underlines the severity of the situation. It is in such times of adversity that communities must come together to extend support and to help rebuild lives shattered by the forces of nature.

Standing with our fellow Slovenians during this crisis, Moya Financial is committed to aiding the relief efforts. We are pleased to announce a donation of $10,000 to provide essential assistance to those affected by the floods. It is our hope that our donation will contribute to the immediate needs of flood victims, providing them with resources to begin rebuilding their lives.

This donation reflects our unwavering commitment to our community and our shared values of solidarity and support. While we are oceans away from our homeland, the bonds that connect us with Slovenia remain strong.

Moya Financial is grateful to the Slovenian government and to all international organizations involved in coordinating relief efforts. We also acknowledge the efforts of all first responders, volunteers, and individuals who have lent a helping hand in this time of need.

We call upon our members, partners, and the greater community to join hands and contribute towards alleviating the suffering caused by this natural disaster. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and offer hope to those affected by the floods.
